My time at CCGT has been incredibly rewarding. Despite my limited prior experience with GIS, the team warmly welcomed me and provided valuable assistance during workshops. Witnessing the diverse applications of GIS across various fields was truly astonishing, and I thoroughly enjoyed my entire tenure here.
My experience at CCGT significantly contributed to the improvement of my time management and leadership skills. Organizing events and collaborating on projects demanded effective coordination, and I am grateful for the growth these experiences fostered in me.
Looking ahead, I am thrilled to share that for the Sprint 2024 term, I will be joining Tesla as a Software Engineering Intern. The skills and insights gained during my time at CCGT will undoubtedly serve as a strong foundation for my role at Tesla, and I will carry the lessons and memories from CCGT with me wherever my journey takes me.

My internship with CCGT was one of the most enriching experiences I have had at Clemson. I gained so much knowledge about GIS techniques, connected with experts in the field, and gained leadership skills by getting the chance to teach my own instructional workshops. I would highly recommend any students interested in the field of GIS to apply - the staff at CCGT is unparalleled!
I have also recently been awarded an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship to continue my studies in the field of geospatial data sciences because of this internship.
This fellowship will provide full tuition as well as a generous stipend for up to 3 years of graduate studies at any U.S. academic institution. It was the incredible support and advice from my advisors at CCGT that gave me the opportunity to receive such a prestigious fellowship and I am excited to continue my education at the University of Michigan next fall!
Through two semesters of interning with the Center, I was able to learn more about the role of geospatial analyses in solar development while working with brilliant, passionate people every day.
After graduation, I will be pursuing a Fulbright Grant in Santiago, Chile, studying distributed solar energy generation--an opportunity that has certainly been made possible by my time with CCGT.

Being a part of CCGT has not only taught me everything I need to know about GIS and more, it has changed the way I think and work. I am now at a level of digital fluency and preparedness for the modern job market that I never thought possible, and the skills I have learned are universal.
I am proud to say that I will be working as an intern for NASA this summer, putting my skills to good use, and CCGT is what made it possible.
CCGT exposed me to the varied and interesting capabilities of GIS. The technical know how I have gained during my internship with CCGT has influenced my academic direction.
I am grateful for the experience and opportunities that CCGT has made possible, both an Esri assistantship and the USAID internship. My CCGT internship has been very important.

I had the pleasure of interning with the US Agency for International Development as a Youth Mappers Virtual Intern, all thanks to CCGT. I had not even imagined an opportunity like that existed until CCGT informed the Clemson Mappers team. CCGT was very helpful in making sure I started off well since some software and concepts were new to me.
As someone who always had an interest in geography, this was a very enjoyable and rewarding experience for me.
